LI

A list item can contain P, BLOCKQUOTES, and a wide variety of other markup. If the LI is part of an Ordered List, then LI can also contain other lists (UL, DL, MENU, or DIR). However, if the LI is part of a MENU or DIR, then it may not contain nested lists. This is a common error (probably because the reason for the restriction is not intuitively obvious).
