Ithaca NY, it began broadcasts
Summer 1948, and ended in the early 1960's. There are some extant
I remember it well and found it often more useful than today's regional
probability forecasts. However the recording I have of the "Weather Roundup"
consists almost entirely of simple wind, temperature, and barometric reports from
the various transmitter sites and is probably not a good model for a farm
weather forecast program.
