Recommended Suppliers

Is there a list showing international suppliers of conservation/bookbinding material ?

The reason I ask is that a firm that we have dealt with for many 
years, namely F. J. Ratchford Limited, Kennedy Way, Green Lane, 
Stockport, England, were telling me that they are considering 
increasing their export market into the US and other countries and I 
wondered if there was a directory on which they could publish this 
fact.

I would not normally try to help in this way but over the years we 
have had excellent service from them and we find their book-cloths 
and buckrams ideally suited to our binding processes. 

Perhaps a "recommended supplier" list would be useful if it was on 
CooL or another point of access on the Web? I always find it a 
problem tracing new sources of specialist one off items in 
particular.

to introduce the idea of an "electronic recommended suppliers" list.
