Re: Naropa Summer Program

The Naropa Institute print shop has 2 Vandercooks & the C & P that Lyn
Hejinian (Tuumba Press) & then David Sheidlower (Coincidence Press) once
owned. They also have a large amount of Perpetua type. Last summer Janet
Rodney's workshop printed a small chapbook of Rumi poems. Other printers
teaching (one week) workshops were Ann & Ken Miklowski, & Julie Seko. This
summer Sam & Sally Green (Brooding Heron Press) offer separate letterpress &
bookbinding workshops the first two weeks, Julie Seko returns teh third, &
Brad O'Sullivan (who has printed many of the Rodent Press covers) teaches the
last week.

Anyone interested should be aware that workshops last one week, are
introductory in nature, & that students can only sign up for one workshop per
week for each of the 4 week sessions. Workshop assignments are not
guaranteed & Naropa MFA students are given priority.

hope this helps,

Charles Smith
