Re: Workshop/course on medieval bookbindings



'Technology and the Medieval Book IX' a workshop from July 8 to 19 in
Santa, Idaho, which includes spinning thread, making paper, cooking glue
size and starch paste the first week; folding and sewing textblocks on
raised cords or split thongs, shaping wooden boards, sewing endbands, and
making parchment, needles, and foredge clasps the second week. $550 per
