So obviously you want to make sure you are using permanent/durable paper! CK

(The toner test was developed by the National Archives and Records
Administration, and involves copying several pattern, then adhering 3M
Drafting Tape -- no substitutes!-- to the black areas. When the tape is
peeled back (and they are pretty specific about how to adhere and how to
peel the tape) the amount of toner that remains determines whether the
copies are considered permanent.)
