**  PRESS RELEASE: Imitate Keeler Competition  **

The Harry Stephen Keeler Society announces the Second Annual
Imitate Keeler Competition, devoted to affectionate parody of
America's most idiosyncratic mystery writer, the inventor of the
webwork plot and author of some of the most bizarre novels in
world literature.

All entrants will receive 10 Keeler postcards. The winner will
receive publication in the August issue of the Society's
newsletter, Keeler News, plus a bound photocopy of a rare Keeler
novel, plus a Keeler mug. Limit: 654 words. Entries should be
sent to Richard Polt by e-mail at polt@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or by snail
mail at 266 Senator Pl. #2, Cincinnati, OH 45220. Deadline: July
10, 1998.
