To avoid tide lines, try using a few sheets of blotter paper in the close=
book (under a board with weights) to draw moisture out of the turn-ins. =

The blotters can be on both sides of the covers.  Continue to change the
blotters as they become damp.  I have found that the red dye of some
leathers does bleed; using blotters to absorb the moisture from the
turn-ins evens the tone of the dye and absorbs the excess.  =
