The Columbia College Chicago Center for Book and Paper Arts is offering
three one week artist's residencies for Chicago area artists (or artists
from elsewhere who can provide their own living accomodations in
Chicago) in June 1999.  Selected artists will have studio space,
technical assistance, access to the center's papermaking, letterpress
and bookbinding studios and will receive $700.00 for supplies and
stipend.  We are seeking mid-career artists who are experienced
papermakers, book artists, or printers.
Interested artists should submit a project proposal including what you
plan to do, why a residency will be benificial to your work, a budget,
and a timeline for completion of the project.

project proposal by April 23, 1999 to:
