Re: Repetitive Motion Syndrome

A word of caution on the support gloves/back braces/etc: I would urge you to
talk to a doctor/hand specialist before wearing such gloves and braces.
Sometimes they seem to offer benefits in the short term, but will eventually
cause more damage to the strained area.  This goes for back/other body parts as
well.  I'm not a doctor and I don't claim to have any special knowledge in this
area.  I have some experience through family members with chiropractors (for the
back) and hand/wrist specialists (for early onset arthritis or possibly carpal
tunnel) and this is what they and the few pieces of literature I have read have

tend to forget to take them off.  I have actually been known to visit people
and not realize I had them on until I got back home.  In other words,
they're REALLY comfortable.  They apparently look tight, but aren't.  They
feel fabulous.
