                Pacific Center for the Book Arts Members' Show

SAN FRANCISCO: The Pacific Center for the Book Arts & the San Francisco Public
Library are pleased to present the 9th Biennial PCBA Members Exhibition. Book
Works: 1999 will open with a public reception on Wednesday, June 9, from 6:00
to 8:00 p.m., in the Skylight Gallery, sixth floor, Main Library, Civic Center.
The public is invited to attend; all events at the Library are free. On display
will be the work of traditional and experimental book artists from around the
United States. The exhibition continues through Saturday, July 31.

The Pacific Center for the Book Arts was formed by a group of San Francisco Bay
Area professional book artists, book workers and educators in 1980 to foster
and support the new directions of their various disciplines, and to provide a
vehicle and focus for education, experimentation and communication. Newcomers
to book arts are encouraged to participate in PCBA's activities, workshops,
