I would have a problem with built-in poly edged boards, unless there are
interchangeable boards with varied diameter rods. ...
How long are the built-in poly edged boards on your press? Or do you have
interchangeable boards with ?<<<

The poly edges on the boards are 12 1/2" long with a rounded 1/8" thick =
edge. The boards fit into slides on the top and bottom platens. They can =
be removed turned over and re-inserted as plain boards with no raised =
edge. In this configuration you could use any of your varied rods in =
those cases where the standard poly edges were not sufficient.
