Announcement: Paper, Painting, Fiber Art Show

I need to add an addendum to my announcement.  The exhibition "Autumn Hymn: A
Celebration of Autumn Equinox at Gallery E.G.G. runs October 29 - December 4,
1999.  Gallery E.G.G. is located at 1474 W. Hubbard St. 2nd Floor, (near the
corner of Ashland & Grand Aves.) Chicago, Illinois 60622.  Hours are Thurs. -
Sat. 12 - 5 p.m.  opening reception October 29 6 - 9 p.m. (costumes welcome)
Innovative approaches to handmade paper, natural dyes, earth pigments and
historical materials.  Featuring hemp, denim, abaca, kozo and paper made from
prairie plants, weeds, herbs, fruit and vegetables.  Four women artist in
various stages of their artistic development and lives, from varied ethnic
backgrounds( Korean, Macedonian, African American and Afro-Celtic) present
their work. Visionary/shamanistic/ritualistic/dream inspired work and work on
the autumnal theme in all of it's cross-cultural complexity.  Exhibit also
includes oil painting on canvas, waterbased mixed media on fabric, fiber art,
sculptural work, drawings. performance art entitled: "Go from Green" and
gallery talk by artists: October 30, 1999 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. Gallery phone
