Call for Entries Deadline Extended for 2001 Calligraphers Engagemnt Calendar

    The Calligraphers Engagement Calendar for 2000 is now printed and the
deadline for entries for the 2001 calendar has been extended to January 31,
2000. Each year the calendar has a theme - all the quotations concern the
same subject. For 2000 it is Numbers. The editors of the 2000 calendar,
Eleanor Winters and Carole Maurer, have chosen 52 pieces from the many
entries from 8 different countries. Fifty-one different calligraphers have
contributed. Sheila Waters designed the cover. The calendar pages are by
Julian Waters. The calendar is available from the publisher, John Neal,
Bookseller, as well as from other calligraphy suppliers. The price is $13.99.
Quantity prices are available.
   The theme for the 2001 Calligraphers Engagement Calendar will be Animals -
real or imaginary, wild or tame, prehistoric or prevalent today, animals in
