SF: Reception Friday 12/3/99; Millennial Anxiety at SF Center for the Book!

Pacific Center for the Book Arts (a member organization of SF Center for
the Book) presents:

Millennial Anxiety

an interactive cathartic show where you can pinpoint and purge all your
worries about the upcoming change to the next millenium, y2k glitches,
possible apocalypse, etc. On display until January 1, 2000, the show
consists of several hands-on displays allowing direct access to
end-of-the-century cleansing:

- Anxiety Wall: fill out a tastefully letterpress-printed card with your
answer to either What do you fear from the next millenium? or What's the
worst present you've ever gotten? and add it to the growing number on our
gallery wall. See what everyone else is worried about (it may surprise

- Y2K Bug Art Table: make your very own Y2K bug out of paper, cloth, pipe
cleaners, etc. Add your bug to the display.

- Anxious Faces Window: etch an anxious face in the fake snow!

- Flexagon Calendar for 2000: letterpress-printed with woodcuts by PCBA's
