Inside Books

Inside Books is a weeklong introduction to publishing held on the campus of
the College of St. Benedict (65 miles NW of Minneapolis) from July 9-16 this
year. This workshop provides an insider's view of the publishing industry
and will focus primarily on small presses, literary magazines and
alternative publishing. The program will include representatives from
alternative and electronic publishing, large trade presses, independent
publishers and provide glimpses into book arts and special-interest
publishing.  Presenters include Fiona McRae, publisher at Graywolf Press;
Todd Maitland, Managing Editor of the "Hungry Mind Review", Joseph Parisi,
Editor of "Poetry" magazine and others.
Inside Books is part of the Literary Center at St. Ben's. Nearby St. John's
is home to the Hill Monastic Manuscript Library.
