We have the delightful distinction of hosting not
one, but two incredible book arts shows in Pittsburgh.

One show, held in conjunction with the Art Librarian's
conference, opened Tuesday, March 14th and extends
through April 1st.

This show is called "Books and Beyond: Artist's Books
from the Ohio Valley Collections"

Frick Fine Arts Building, University Art Gallery
University of Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh, PA

Exhibition hours:
M-W, F-Sa 10:00am to 4:00pm
Th 10:00am to 8:00pm

I helped to curate this exhibit which features
books from art libraries in the Ohio Valley and
book artists from the Pittsburgh area. There are
more than 130 artists' books on exhibit -- the
largest exhibit of its kind in Pittsburgh.

If you are in or nearby Pittsburgh, this is definitely
worth a trip.

The second book exhibit is:
"Reading Visual/Text: Regional Volumes"
Exhibit is February 16th through March 25th

BrewHouse ArtSpace 101
21st and Mary Streets
Pittsburgh, PA 15203

Gallery hours:
Wednesdays 6-9 pm
Thursday-Saturdays 11am-4pm
or by appointment

Don't miss these two exciting opportunities
to see artists' books in Pittsburgh.
