Printers' Fair in SF

For those of you within driving distance of San Francisco, or who will be
visiting the area at the end of April, come to the Printers' Fair!
The details are these:

26th annual Printers' Fair
Sponsored by the Pacific Center for the Book Arts
Saturday, April 29, 2000
Fort Mason Conference Center, Building A, in the Marina district of San

Celebrating the art and craft of the book

Letterpress printers, bookbinders, book artists and book enthusiasts share
their love of the printed word in all its forms. Demonstrations of printing,
paper marbling, and paper making. Printing type and equipment for sale.
Booksellers of artists books and books about books. Book arts organizations
on hand.
And, not least of all, socializing with the traditionalist, the
nontraditionalist, the eccentric, and the quirky practitioners of the book
arts that make the San Francisco Bay Area such an enlivening place to be!
