At the turn of the Twentieth Century many aspects of letter design played
an important role in the creative process of artists, writers and
composers. Paul Werner, PhD discusses the incorporation of written
characters in the works of writers like Alfred Jarry, composers like Erik
Satie, and architects like Hector Guimard.
