Oak Knoll Fest VII

Dear Book Arts members,

Oak Knoll Books will celebrate the Book Arts by holding OAK KNOLL FEST VII -
Sept. 30 & Oct. 1, 2000.

Set in the historic, colonial town of Old New Castle, Delaware, this
two-day event coalesces fine presses and their books, collectors,
librarians, and booksellers.

Barry Moser, described as "the foremost wood engraver in America" by
Newsweek magazine,
and Simon Brett, the dean of British wood engravers will speak. Moser will
be sharing one of the most challenging endeavors of his career -
illustrating The Pennyroyal Caxton Bible. It is the first Bible fully
illustrated by one individual since Gustave Dore's La Sainte Bible of 1865.
Simon will be speaking on the subject of current wood engraving practices
throughout the world.

OAK KNOLL FEST Fine Press Exhibition has private press printing masters
from around the world displaying and selling their fine press books. In
addition, Barry Moser and Simon Brett will be displaying and selling their
work at the exhibition.

Oak Knoll Books will also hold its once-a-year, two-day 20% OFF SALE on all
antiquarian and new titles during the fair, including Oak Knoll Press titles.
