fabric transparency

Janet,
The instructor in a bookmaking class I recently took made a large
transparent panel and this is the method she followed:
1st layer is wax paper; second layer are items you want (flowers,
etc.)-glue these on with PVA glue watered down;
3rd layer is thin Japanese paper OR Puffs one ply tissue paper (if you
use the Puffs then you have to peel these off) - also use PVA glue to
adhere.
Then iron these 3 layers between sheets of cotton cloth.

Her panel was about 6 1/2 ft. tall and stunning!
Good luck.
