Designer Bookbinders exhibition in Boston

The New England Chapter of the Guild of Book Workers is sponsoring a
reception for the exhibition "Designer Bookbinders in North America" at
the Boston Public Library on Thursday, July 13, 2000. The exhibition
will open at 5:30 pm, with a gallery talk at 6:15 pm by British binder
Angela James. The reception will follow.

The exhibition features bindings by fellows and licentiates of the
English Designer Bookbinders, including books by Bernard Middleton,
Philip Smith, Ivor Robinson, Faith Shannon , Jeff Clements, Paul Delrue,
Jenni Grey and many others. This is an opportunity to see exquisite work
by some of the premiere binders in the world today.

This event is open to the public. The library is located in Copley
Square in downtown Boston.
