This is to Kevin about photographing his books. The really important thing is
to get the correct exposure which can be done with the help of a grey card -
available at photography stores. What you do is focus on the grey card, and
whatever exposure you get, set the camera at that exposure, leave it there,
and take your photographs at that exposure. Your whites will be white and
your darks will be dark. In a pinch, you can focus on grass, which is close
to the color of a grey card, and go from there. Good luck.  Diane
