Manus/Hands at the Jaffe Collection

Bookish folks in South Florida, as well as those planning to visit the
area, would be interested in the Arthur and Mata Jaffe Collection and our
current atrium exhibit.

"Manus/Hands: Messengers of Mind and Spirit" is an exhibit of books and
prints from the collection. As messengers, hands bridge the gap between
world outside and world inside. They connect materials and environment with
mind and spirit, allowing for creation, destruction, communication,
expression. The exhibit, featuring works by Mare Blocker, Carol Todaro,
Tatana Kellner and others, runs through June at the Jaffe Atrium Gallery,
third floor east of Florida Atlantic University's Wimberly Library in Boca
Raton, Florida. The university is located just east of I-95 at the Glades
Road exit:

        Florida Atlantic University
        777 Glades Road
        Boca Raton, Florida 33431

Collection hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm, though the exhibit
is available during regular library hours as well. For more information, or
to schedule an appointment to view other works in the Jaffe Book Arts
Collection, phone the collection at 561 297 0226, or email <lysca@fau.edu>.
