I've had an Olympus D-340R for a year and a half and am amazed at it's
performance.  It was a little under $300; takes beautiful indoor as well as
outdoor pictures.  I frequently use it to take pictures of my own books.
Cameraworld, located in Oregon, carries it and their prices are usually
better than your local store; their service can't be beat.
