>From Printer's Devil to Artist-Printer: The Letterpress Work of Robin Price
Arts of the Book Collection, Yale University Library
New Haven, CT

Our most recent exhibition showcases the work of Robin Price through the
length of her career. The presentation of ephemera, broadsides and books
starts in 1984 with the first piece of printing on which Robin laid
her hands. The growth of her experience and talents are followed through
stints working with various presses on to her own productions. With the
numerous works housed in the Arts of the Book Collection and the works on
loan from the artist, the range of materials highlights Price's versatility
and inventiveness.

Blind Collaboration: Ten Artists in Cahoots with Robin Price, Publisher
Photo Art Book Art (PABA) Gallery
1044 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT

This exhibition celebrates the new artists' book "Slurring at bottom: a
printer's book of errors." This work uses the rejected press sheets from
Price's previous projects as the impetus for the creation of a new work of
art. The book is centered in the gallery and surrounded by art work from
the 10 artists who participated in the new book. One can compare the
artist's usual manner to what was produced in conjunction with Price. The
show also includes other one-of-a-kind blind collaborations between Price
and a few of the artists from the book, as well as a site-specific
installation of a five foot tall marionette.

Hours: T, W, F 11am - 5pm, Th 11am - 7pm, Sat 11am - 4pm
Through September 15. Call for more information: 203-773-3665
