Hi All--

Here's an interesting version of the transfer method using transparent tape
of any kind or clear contact paper which comes in large sizes. Just put the
tape -- wide clear packing tape works great -- on the image to be
transfered, burnish down, place under water, working slowly to disolve the
paper. This is similar to the acrylic medium method but there's no dry time
and the tape is very sturdy when you wash off the paper. Thinner paper is
good, magazines are fabulous. Then dry with paper towel, cut out the part of
the image you want, and use PVA or acrylic media to collage into place. The
high gloss finish of the tape can be used to advantage in the composition.
Fun to do with kids!

Cheers,
Diane Weintraub
