"The Book & Light" Exhibition

The Idaho Center for the Book, designated
Idaho affiliate of the Library of Congress Center
for the Book, is pleased to announce the
opening of its exhibition "The Book & Light"
Monday, March 4th, in the Liberal Arts Building on
the campus of Boise State University.

On display will be 3-D, hologram, photochromatic,
silhouette, ViewMaster, stereogram, moire, anamorphic,
shadow-casting, glow-in-the-dark and "flip"  artist's and
trade books, as well as related solar devices, artifacts,
and reference works.

Also included in the exhibit will be "The Light as Book,"
a bookwork lamp designed for the exhibit by
its curators, graduate BSU Book Arts students Matthew
Brunicardi, Greg Harm, Jo Anne Hill, Shannon Mahoney,
and Christi Nogle.
