Re: [BKARTS] Lynd Ward's VERTIGO

What a delight - this afternoon I was out buying books and came across a
copy of Lynd Ward's "Mad Man's Drum", not in the greatest shape, it's
missing the spine, but the first I'd ever seen. I used to do lino cuts
for Christmas, both my Mom & Dad had gone to Art school in Winnipeg and
were familiar with woodcuts and the technique; so suddenly when I saw
this book my nose started to twitch, saw the name (meant nothing) but
the fact that the whole book was nothing but woodcuts - knew it was a
winner. Came home and opened the email and there's Lynd Ward - better
than playing the horses, what? Alice
