Re: [BKARTS] Paula Hocks' passing

Paula Hocks, renowned book artist, whose works bridged poetry, architecture,
events, personalities, essays, and philosophy with collaged images, resident
of Albuquerque, but resident of the world of architecture, art, books and
reading, passed away in February in Albuquerque. Previously represented by
Tony Zwicker, Hocks did most of her distribution as Running Women Press. Her
last book, Dear Doppelganger, reflected her long career in the arts. She was
elegant, full of grace, and an example of those who persevere in the medium
of their choice, in this case, artist books. She will be sorely missed by
her friends throughout the world from Barcelona to Amsterdam to Japan and
all over the United States. A memorial for her will be held in Albuquerque
on 29 March.
