Dear Yvonne,
Following is the messge to the Book Arts List in January.
Good Luck with your shear,

Dear Friends,

I have just received word that the video on servicing and maintaining Board
Shears, especially, the JACQUES BOARD SHEAR, is now available for sale (and
loan) from the GUILD OF BOOK WORKERS. Some of you may know that we made this
video during the GBW STANDARDS OF EXCELLENCE MEETING in Salt Lake City. The
video has been edited for clarity, and contains some updated (written)
information at the end. We have attempted to cover all the points needed to
care for a JACQUES BOARD SHEAR (and other board shears).

Please note that the video is available for sale --- a first (?) for the
Guild. All monies over and above the cost of making a copy, will be used by
GBW for making other videos available to the membership. Obviously, this is a
very worthwhile project for everyone.

For those who want to order here's the info: The videos are $25 + $5
shipping for GBW members, and $40 + $5 shipping to non-members. These
shipping rates are for US addresses only -- foreign shipments will be more.
The video will be shipped via priority mail after payment is received. Online
ordering via the website is not possible at this time, but queries can be
sent to:
Alicia Bailey, GBW Treasurer, ravenpress@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Credit card orders can be faxed to Alicia at 720-859-7357 and must include
card number, expiration date, name of authorized cardholder, and their
signature, as well as shipping information.
Checks and credit card orders can also be mailed to PO Box 27, Lake City, CO

The video can also be borrowed from the Guild of Book Workers Library

Final Note: If, upon seeing the video, you have any information that would be
beneficial, please let us know. These videos are an important part of our
mutual development and understanding.
