As with making a cherry or any type of berry pie, cook the juice with corn starch, usually 2-4 tablespoonfuls per cup of juice.  For sweetness, add sugar to taste once the liquid is sufficiently thickened.  You need to mix the cornstarch with cool liquid, not hot. then heat it.
