About the exhibit...
The Bill of Rights exhibit features a series of 10 provocative book works
that exemplify the first ten amendments to the U.S. Constitution as art.
For each amendment, Minsky has selected a text that conveys the concept of
that right. Each book work illustrates what may happen if the right is
violated or stimulates thinking about the right in a new way.

Richard Minsky founded the Center for Book Arts in 1974 and has long
promoted the book as art. His works have been exhibited and are held by
major American museums and book arts collections, including the Getty
Center, the Yale University Arts of the Book Collection, the National
Gallery, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
