The Center for Book & Paper Arts proudly presents the product of a
year-long
investigation into the handmade book...if you remain curious please
read on.

Editions is a graduate class taught by Audrey Niffenegger devoted to
the
conception and production of books. These are no ordinary books for
they
were mustered with the sheer will power of mastering the art of
handmade
papermaking, bookbinding and letterpress printing, with a dash of
humor, awe
and intellect.

The artists will be presenting their books and the vision (and work)
behind
the books.

This presentation is open to the public and will be held on Thursday,
June
19th 2003 at 6pm.

Please join us for a peek at the artists who have carved a tale from an
iron, patterned a life on paper and created a book from highway scraps.
