Those thinking about using wood for covers should be aware that many exotic
woods are toxic at one level or another, usually for those exposed to their
dust.  For a list of woods and reactions see

Rosewood and to a lesser extent ebony are known for causing reactions and
other problems for wooden instrument makers.   So break out the dust masks .
