Re: [BKARTS] Transparent Vellum

Thanks, Paul, but it was not 'my' recipe. I only repeated Bernard's
transcription of the patent specification.

An interesting question relates to those pigments which are pH sensitive.

A survey of surviving Edwards of Halifax's transparent vellum, painted bindings
might reveal some problems related to pH.

Is there a graduate student out there looking for a useful research project?

Even if there are no problems revealed, a census would be useful.
