The Oregon Book Arts Guild Announces The Eighth Oregon Book Biennial,
Journals of Discovery, marking the anniversary of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.

This juried show of handmade books will be held at the Collins Gallery of
Multnomah County Library in May, 2004. The exhibit will then travel to St.
Louis, Missouri where the International Calligraphy Conference will take place. The
Journals of Discovery exhibit will be held in the Lovejoy Library at southern
Illinois University at Edwardsville the month of July, 2004.

The theme of this year's show is Journals of Discovery, marking the 200th
anniversary of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Make your own Journal of
Discovery. You may reflect on the journey of Lewis and Clark but you may also reflect
on your own personal journey. Books may be about the Lewis and Clark
