Call for Entries:

Letter Arts Review Black & White Issue

The summer 2004 issue of Letter Arts Review will feature over a hundred
works in black and white - in fact the whole issue will be a celebration
of letterforms in black and white. We'd like to consider your work for
inclusion. Send your logos, exemplar alphabets, alphabetic compositions,
fine calligraphy, typeface design, etc., created in black in white. No
entry fees. No limit to the number of pieces you can enter. Send us a
very good reproduction along with the entry form. (If you send a CD-ROM,
please include a good hard copy as well.)

Deadline for receipt of entries: January 14, 2004

1. No entries will be returned.

2. You will be notified when selection has been completed in early 2004.
Please include your email address on the form, or a stamped,
self-addressed envelope for this purpose. We will provide the postage
for foreign entries if you do not have email. 3. Entries must be
accompanied by an entry form (copies acceptable). 4. Only works created
in black and white will be considered. (no b/w photos of work in color)
and only works not previously printed in Letter Arts Review. The
emphasis will be on good letterforms. 5. A complimentary copy of the
summer 2004 (19.2) issue will be mailed to all artists who work is
selected.] 6. Only entries received by mail, UPS, FedEx, etc., will be
considered. We are NOT prepared to accept entries via e-mail. 7.

This special issue will be sent to all current subscribers of Letter
Arts Review. There is no need for subscribers to order a copy unless
they want an additional one. Individual copies of this special Black &
White Issue (19.2) can be purchased for $13.50. It will be available in
July/August of 2004.

Other Special Issues of Letter Arts Review:

Wedding Issue (16.2) Invitations, announcements, other calligraphy for
weddings. $16.50

Greeting Card Issue (17.4). Just published. Includes all manner of cards
from an international list of over 100 calligraphers and lettering
artists from Adams to Zeugin. Half are printed in full color. $16.50

Prices include postage in the USA. Canada add $1.00 per issue, All
