Re: [BKARTS] Library of Congress publication: Boxes for Protection of Books:...

Last week one of the Listmembers made an enquiry to the List in relation to the
availability of this title.

After this book went OP at the Library of Congress in the 1990s, it was then
taken up, probably under license, by a commercial publishing company. We
purchased our copy in 2000 from:

Diane Publishing Co.
Suite #3,
330 Pusey Avenue,
Collingdale, PA. 19023.

Another book with a variety of designs and styles which we have found most
useful, is:

Books, Boxes and Wraps: Binding and Building Step-by-Step, by Marilyn
Webberley. Published by:

Bifocal Publishing, PO Box 272, Kirkland, WA, 98083-0272. email: (in 2000),

A large paperback 11" x 8.5", many many hand drawn diagrams, 290pp. Includes
palm leaf scroll bindings, accordion bindings, and numerous box designs, amongst
a great deal more.

Two useful titles.
