As far as structure, consider a picture on one page and poetry on the
facing page, hand written verse over images or in the margin, words on a
vellum over the image (which can be turned back to reveal the image
clearly) etc. If it is art there are no rules except that the structure
should convey the meaning and intent of the artitist(s). Have the kids
experiment and encourage them to challenge convention. In the process
they may flop or soar but that is what creativity is about.
