Most Instructors will be teaching two different classes, each for 2-3
days.



Suzanne Cannon/Canada: Bookbinding, journals and related topics

Ewan Clayton/UK: (1) A study workshop on the lettering and working
methods of David Jones and (2) Working with Imagination

Lorraine Douglas/Canada: (1) "The Ruling Pen Book" and (2) Cut Paper
Letters

Jean Formo/US: (1) Walnut Ink Meets the Book and (2) Alphabet Inventions

Kathy Guthrie/Canada: (1) Back in the Day: Preserving a Photo and Story
on Canvas

Eliza Holliday/US: (1) Pointed Brush: The Dancing Hand and (2) Graphite
Techniques

Martin Jackson/Canada: (1) Uncials and (2) Design and Layout

Betty Locke/Canada: Evoking the Muse: Spontaneous Design

Gaye Mackie/Canada: Copperplate

Cherryl Moote/Canada: (1) Slight of Binding and (2) Journal: Form and
Content

Peter Thornton/UK: (1) The Creative and Expressive Potential of Italic
and (2) White on White



COST: Approx $550-600 (Canadian dollars). Includes tuition, food and
housing.



Lethbridge is about two hours by car south of Calgary, AB. The classes
will held on the campus of Lethbridge Community College Participants
will be housed on campus.
