MDE - Innovation 2004: An International Bookbinding Design Competition

Check out Oregon College of Art and Craft, on the
web at www.ocac.edu. It's a neat, friendly school
with a book arts program. I don't know if they
have any exhibits or workshops during your visit.
When I visited a few years ago I had fun just
touring the campus and seeing what was in the
works. I also swung by Oblation Papers & Press,
on the web at www.oblationpapers.com. They've got
a beautiful store front with letterpress and
papermaking facilities in the back. Again, as is
the standard in the bookarts world, they were
very welcoming and more than happy to show me
around.

I am visiting Portland this weekend (3/20-22) and

am wondering if anyone knows about any book arts
related events or exhibits. My first trip there.
Thank you.
Diane
