I am pleased to announce that Eric Alstrom will join Michigan State
University Libraries as the new Collections Conservator on April 1 (this
is not an April Fools).
Eric comes to us from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, where he has =
been
Collections Conservator and instructor in the book arts since 1998. =
Before
that he was conservator at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He has also
worked with James Craven & Associates, Bessenberg Bindery, and the =
Bentley
Historical Library Conservation Lab as a conservator. He received his
library degree from the University of Michigan.
