Re: [BKARTS] Book Arts for children

John -

You may be interested in my booklet, Paper by Hand: A Beginner's Guide to
Making Paper in the Kitchen or Classroom. An introduction to papermaking can
be easily done in a 1-2 hour session and kids love incorporating paper they
have made themselves into their other book projects. You can make papers
that go beyond "coffee can papermaking" with very little equipment and fuss.
Information is available at the bottom of the page at:

Other suggestions:

Paul Johnson's book, A Book of One's Own
Susan Gaylord's book, Multicultural Books Across the Curriculum
Back issues of Tabellae Ansatae - several nice kid's projects

with best wishes,
Roberta
