Re: [BKARTS] scamming a book binder?

There are several variants of the scam, artist-types are targeted.
Usually a large commission or made-to-order is agreed on, deposit or
even the entire order goes through like a charm, credit card is good.
Charmed by the large incoming flow of cash, many artists ship upon
receiving the deposit or payment. Some time later, the charge is
reversed; usually the card was stolen anyway. The artist is out the
paintings or leather cases with little recourse, as Nigerian authorities
are not helpful. The goods are then resold.
