The paper thickness is not a problem in a large enough sheet. Elephant folios
open fine with very thick paper. The smaller you get, the less flexible the
paper. However, that would not cause Alex's problem. With proper backing
procedure, a book with overly thick paper, may not have opened enough to read, but,
it should not separate between the sections.
