Re: [BKARTS] Saving sections made up of thick paper

A flat back may contribute to your dilemma. First off it will, after being
opened repeatedly, become concave. Second when a stiff book is given a round
back, the stress of opening is distributed across the entire spine, (proper
backing will help in distributing stress) whereas in a flat back all the stress is
at the opening. A flat back will open easier, but its job performance leaves
something to be desired.
