Featuring artists Brad Freeman and Anne George
On exhibit April 17 - June 20, 2004

Opening reception - April 17, 6-9 p.m.
Gallery talk with Brad Freeman and Anne George - 7 p.m.

Brad Freeman has produced more than twenty of his own artist's books since
1980. His work combines photography, text, digitally manipulated imagery
and the creative use of offset lithography within the structure of the
codex. In 1994, he founded the Journal of Artists' Books as a forum for
critical inquiry about artists' books.

Minneapolis artist Anne George was selected from applicants nationwide to
work with Freeman. Her work is exhibited nationally and in several museum
collections. She teaches graphic design at Art Institute International in
Minneapolis.

In the summer of 2003, Freeman collaborated George on an artists' book
entitled "Once Removed" using the state-of-the-art production capabilities
available at Bolger Concept to Print in Minneapolis. The residency was
funded by a National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Creativity Grant.
