[BKARTS] J. Hewit and Sons Tannery in Scotland: San Francisco Contact/Lecture

Hand Bookbinders of California present:

David Lanning, representing J. Hewit and Sons--the Scottish tannery which
makes superb bookbinding goatskin--will speak tomorrow evening, Monday, May
17th at 7:00 pm at the SPUR room, 312 Sutter Street, 5th floor, down the
hall from the Book Club of California.  David will speak on the "History of
Bookbinding Leather," and a give a "Virtual Tour of the Tannery."
Refreshments will be served before the talk, from 6:15 pm.

Entrance is free, and all are welcome.  This is a wonderful opportunity to
learn about leather, tanneries, and to meet a personable representative of
the suppliers to the bookbinding world.
