Re: [BKARTS] Homemade Binding Equipment

Hi Diana,

You might be interested in an article in Volume 39, No. 1 of the Guild of
Book Workers Journal (June, 2004) by Jiri Vnoucek from Prague on early
medieval bindings. He demonstrated the technique and commented on sewing
frames. See the web site at guild of book workers and click on
publications.

Whoever was looking for plans for sewing frames, etc., might find this
website of interest: http://www.bookweb.sunpig.com/equipment/sewframe.htm

Take a look at this artist's gallery of bindings while you're there!
